An enchanting, dangerous journey.

Dust: An Elysian Tail, a beautifully animated side-scrolling platformer with dynamic fights and RPG elements, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.49 for the first week!

As the mysterious warrior, Dust, your action-packed journey will take you from peaceful glades to snowy mountaintops and beyond. At your disposal is the mythical sword, capable of turning its wielder into an unstoppable force of nature, and the blade's diminutive guardian, always ready to give you advice--wanted or not. Battle dozens of enemies at once with an easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master combat system, take on a variety of quests from friendly villagers, discover ancient secrets and powerful upgrades hidden throughout the massive, open world, and uncover the story of an ancient civilization on the brink of extinction as you fight to uncover your own past.

Run, jump, hack, and slash in Dust: An Elysian Tail, a dynamic action-platformer with RPG elements, beautiful landscapes, tons of original enemies, full XInput controller support, great animation, and a cast of sympathetic characters. As Dust, the furry protagonist of the story, you will wield the talking sword known as the Blade of Ahrah and take on many strange creatures of darkness that have been menacing your world. With the help of magic-wielding Fidget, the sprite guardian of the sword, and an occasional piece of advice from the snarky blade itself, you will follow your destiny and make your way through a vast, fantastic, colorful world that won't soon forget, even after Dust's story is over.

With traditional animation techniques and full 1080p resolution, this might be one of the most enchanting games ever to grace your screen. Let the adventure begin, get Dust: An Elysian Tail, for only $7.49 on GOG.com. The 50% off release discount offer lasts until Thursday, November 14, at 10:59AM GMT.
glad i waited to get it on GOG for this one ^_^
Awesome, I didn't expect to see this one here so soon! I thought Microsoft Game Studios was onboard for a moment there. Time to pick this one up again!

I'm pissed that I didn't wait. I saw that Microsoft had published this one on Steam and thought there was no chance in hell of this being released DRM-free, so I picked it up in a Steam sale. Will no doubt get this again at some point, although I bet it'll be in a bundle soon anyway.

But yeah, I feel like a fucking idiot now. The one time I decide to buy something from Steam and it proves to be a wrong decision.

Nice release with some extras. I like platformers and the graphics in this game, so wishlisted for now.
Not quite sure what to make of this one. People seem to like it. Why?
It does look pretty, wishlisted!

Had my eye on this for a while. Looks real good. I wonder how it goes on wine.

I see you released the waiting game again :)

Nice title though, it is a very good game.
Heh, when I saw yesterday's release of Valdis Story, I was thinking "...but that Dust: An Elysian Tail is still missing here..." :D Thank you GOG!

Many thanks ta :D
heh, thought for a second this meant Microsoft was on GOG
In July i read a review about that game. Sounded interesting that Dean Dodrill the designer who made the animations for Jazz Jackrabbit made this game alone during 3 years (ex. music and voice-acting).
I was real sad that it was Steam only than. Now i am sad that i can't purchase it....well the 3rd game for my wishlist.
Looks very nice, someone already played? It's much difficult?
