And Last But NOT Least
9.Final Fantasy VII(awesome rpg but my discs are scratched)

Post what games u have got plz :)
I had a pretty nice PS1 collection, but it was all pirated. Yeah, shame on me, but I was 10 back then and each game was like, 5 euros, while original ones costed money that I hadn't held in my hands.

I have 13 nice PS1 games on my PS3 through PSN right now, and I'm going through FF9 these days. Just a couple of hours ago I entered Ipsen's Castle.
I sold most of my PS1 games when I was broke, but I couldn't part with my two favourites -- Metal Gear Solid and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
I have a PS2 in the closet somewhere with some PS1 games. I know I have Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 as well as tactics. I think I probably have Metal Gear Solid too, and maybe a couple others. I was mostly a PC gamer at the time but I bought the system for the Final Fantasy games.
Although I do not own PS1 - I've purchased recently 3 PS1 games to play them on emulator:
- G-Police: Weapons of Justice. I really enjoyed G-Police on PC (my girlfriend, and my future wife, purchased me it on Christmas long time ago) and I just wanted to know how the story ends.
- Warhammer: Dark Omen. I purchased it mainly because music in PS1 version was different to PC version. I'm also having difficulties in running PC version on my contemporary PC.
- Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat. I planed to re-play it, this time at a decent frame rate, not that 1-2 FPS I had on my PC when the game was released :-)

Dragon Warrior VII (Whichever one had the crappy time travel design. Good story though)
Suikoden games (They are all awesome)
I didn't really have many PS1 games. I played mostly RPG's when I was 8.

I bought quite many PS1 games, ones that people seemed to consider classics. Mostly RPGs and some tactical RPGs, also some action and Gran Turismo of course. Since I was a PC gamer first and foremost, I think I hunted down mainly games that some console diehards claimed are much better than their PC counterparts, just wanted to see if there was any truth to their claims. Oh and maybe enjoy the games as well. :) I even bought Metal Gear Solid, but never played it more than 30 minutes or so. Seemed interesting, just didn't have time to dig into it properly at that time.

The funny thing is, I don't think I ever completed any of them! Mainly because PC gaming still took much more time I guess. I think the most I played the following games:

Gran Turismo

Supposed to be the most realistic car sim ever. Quite nice actually and I played it quite long, but frankly I felt it was stupid how the cars were totally indestructible. Yeah yeah, they claimed the car companies had denied that in case they wanted to use real car licenses, I don't know if I'm ready to believe that...

Colony Wars

Since I liked PC space combat sims so much, of course I wanted to see what is the best PS1 has to offer in this genre. Not too bad I guess, I got stuck in some very hard mission and stopped playing. Maybe some day, I still have the save game in a memory card...

Xenogears

Outside of Final Fantasy series, I think this was praised as one of the most interesting and "mature" RPGs on PS1. It sure was heavy on story, maybe people who like Planescape: Torment would like Xenogears too? I don't know how far I got in the game, but I sure did play for quite awhile. I was frankly a bit lost with the story.

EDIT: This Xenogears review made me laugh, the dialogue example in "The Bad" section sounds so familiar. :D

I also have Xenogears and Silent Hill off of PSN for play on PS3 or PSP.
I remember when my dad first got me a Playstation as a surprise gift along with Final Fantasy VII, Syphon Filter and Silent Hill

I loved Legend of Dragoon, was so excited when I saw the trailer on Playstation Underground and I think it also featured a playable demo or it was on a later edition. But man was I excited, especially when they started running TV ads I was like "I NEED THIS" lol Was my favorite RPG next to FFVII

Digimon World I actually thought was awesome, seemed to have a pretty simple system but I liked it, probably the sentiment of being able to interact with that world lol

Metal Gear Solid...Let's just say that even this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NImW-Rs8eK8
Is making me absolutely bubble with nostalgia right now. So many incredible memories

Syphon Filter was great, Logan was a total badass, awesome action...that tazer was just endless fun and #2 made it even more hilarious with the variety of different screams lol Never did get around to playing 3

Silent Hill is probably that really special one for me. Was something that just captivated me about this horrifying world with all of its mystery and siren calls inviting you to lose yourself within it all.

There were plenty of others but these immediately come to mind.

I was always taught never to regret things, one should be comfortable with at least acknowledging decisions that they've made in life but I truly regret selling my Playstation games away, as materialist as it seems lol

I'll eventually rebuild that collection though, check out some of those that I missed too, some day
I have a PS1 collection too big to count, but I'm lucky to have a mint copy of Valkyrie Profile.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2 - awesome skateboarding games, shame the series is pretty much dead now.

Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 - The best Mega Man series imo, I was sad when I heard 3 was canceled

Mega Man 8 - Hilariously bad voice acting, an okay entry

Mega Man X5 - I don't know why I got this, the fact that you can duck is cool but the game is pretty meh

Thunder Force V: Perfect System - The Saturn version is better but this was all we got in the US, still not a bad shmup

Gran Turismo 2 - love it, great driving sim

Crash Team Racing - good Mario Kart clone
