Season 5 of the GOG Weekly Blood Bowl League has just ended and Season 6 will start soon.

Starting with Season 6 the GOG Weekly Blood Bowl League will be public! That means that everybody who owns a version of Blood Bowl (by Cyanide) can watch our matches via the in-game spectator mode.
YAY!
So have a look at our thread here in the forum, sometimes people announce their matches there, or just check in-game when you're in the mood to watch a match.

Also, we still have two open spots for Season 6. Join us!
We're a generally nice bunch, most of us play just for fun, but we also have a prize pool at the end of each season.

As someone who played a bunch of the bowl bowl game on computer solo-style, how would one sign up to join this league? I'#m really interested, just out of the fact it would be fun to play something non-AI related!

Does it need to be done in game (and if so, how?) or do you just do it via a forum post and then log online at a certain time?

It works like this:
You post in our thread that you want to join for season 6.
You tell us your BB coach name (so that we can recognize you in-game)
You then create a team to play with.

Season 6 is scheduled to start at the 19th, before that you'll be told to apply for the league in-game at some point. You'll be given the league name and password then.
You find the league via the search function, apply with your team, we accept you.

There will then be a schedule visible in the league that tells you who your opponent is on which match day.
A match day normally goes from Tuesday to Tuesday but we try to start the first match day a little earlier so that people can get used to how things work.

You contact your opponent (normally via GOG PM) and arrange a day and a time for your match.
You play.
You have fun.
You scream in frustration.
You have more fun.

You also need Legendary Edition or Chaos Edition as vanilla Blood Bowl will not allow cross play with those versions ( I think you can still talk to us via in game chat and watch games in vanilla.) Cyanide logic

Got all the editions so that's no biggy. I'll see if I can sort it out tonight when home from work!
