Hi all! I can confirm it seems we're experiencing some issue on the PayPal side. The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak, but so far we don't have na ETA for you. We'll provide you with an update as soon as we know something, and in the meantime, all I can recommend is trying a different payment method for now :(


EDIT (0030h CET):

No official news from our payment operator, but indeed PayPal payments appear to be processing perfectly since 20-30 minutes or so.I don't want to jinx it, but it appears to have been fixed. :)

yyahoo: Lots of people have credit card issues with GOG in the US. Now, if the card worked before but didn't work now that might be something, but I know that I just now used my GOG friendly credit card without any issues. So, it's not a universal problem. I'm going to guess that he's possibly never tried that card with GOG before.

Heartstopper: I just started having the same issue with both paypal and my credit card, both of which I have been using here ever since I created my account.
Okay then, I'm partially wrong. I can confirm that it's not a universal credit card problem at least...

I had this issue, too. Tried three times without success. Then I logged out, shut down my browser (thereby deleting all cookies and such), re-opened it, logged in and tried again and this time it worked. No idea if it was due to what I did though or just luck, in any case even if it doesn't seem to work right now you might get lucky if you try again later? (Not a solution, of course, just an encoragement not to give up hope.)

I'm having Paypal trouble as well, for the first time ever. No credit card is involved in this payment.

I just had an issue with paypal and gog too. Tried three times and it wouldn't go through. Used the credit card directly and no issues. After this, I used paypal on another site and had no issue with it so it must be a GOG-Paypal issue.
Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.

Hmm, same for me, paypal says no

Just chiming in that I'm having the same issue with PayPal as well. Which is a shame because I prefer PayPal than punching in my card. Guess I won't be getting one of the flash deals.

Same here, unable to process purchase via my linked bank account through PayPal. Confirmed that both my bank account and credit card are still verified on PayPal. Hopefully a short-lived issue; it's never long before I find something else I want to purchase from GoG. :P

Bought Two Worlds a few hours ago. I tried buying Windforge now, and I was greeted by the PayPal error :(((
Ohwell, at least I don't spend money :P
