Hi all! I can confirm it seems we're experiencing some issue on the PayPal side. The team is well aware of this and working on this as we speak, but so far we don't have na ETA for you. We'll provide you with an update as soon as we know something, and in the meantime, all I can recommend is trying a different payment method for now :(

EDIT (0030h CET):

No official news from our payment operator, but indeed PayPal payments appear to be processing perfectly since 20-30 minutes or so.I don't want to jinx it, but it appears to have been fixed. :)

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. :)

I'm having the same problem; I went ahead and sent a support ticket.
thanks, for info.
just complained to paypal as I thought it was them.
hate to miss a sale or two
The only funny thing is that my wife always says: "Do not spend much money in GoG.com." And today she does not have to woory because I cannot buy anything. I usually spend a lot during such a sale. xD
thx for keeping us informed. Can only imagine the hard work going on atm to solve the issue.

*thumbs up* and *fingers crossed*

Me too. I didn't want to spend anything on the last sale. In the end I spent 80€... D:

The_Blog: Also Germany here. My bank is the Volksbank Schaumburg. But I don't think the bank is the problem here. It seems to be more of a global problem between Paypal and GOG.

/EDIT: Just read credit card also didn't work. That's strange.
Support answered: "We are currently expriencing widespread issues with PayPal payments. Please try again with a different payment method, if possible. We will have this issue fixed as soon as we can."

Btw Destro, my Mastercard was denied too, so it seems not be only PayPal.

The_Blog: Thanks for you effort and I hope the issue can be resolved soon. I hope the shift is not going to be too long :(
I bet it is just the fault of Paypal or any other third party

''Your payment attempt was declined by your bank because they require your confirmation, or additional information from you.''

Sounds like paypal is blocking GOG?
or gog just didnt pay their paypal bills

It's the standard 'transaction denied'-message from GOG. You get the same if you just abort the paypal payment by clicking the 'return to gog.com' link.

Congratulations to a lot of booty. ;)
I want to give GoG more money.... so please fix it now! :P
The thing is that credit cards are also refused so it doesn't seem to be an issue restricted to Paypal.
Unfortunately I don't have other payment options, so I really hope for a second chance to buy missed games at the end of promo.
