Whatever the outcome, please don't do anything drastic. Won't go into detail but we have something similar in the family right now on a much bigger scale, and the person involved almost did something about it... and not in a good way.

Anyway, if the taxing entity can't patch this up, try the local authority that creates the taxation law. Depending on where it comes from, this could be the town council or county board. They are your local elected representatives, they are tasked with making the laws and working with the people, and that's probably the next step should direct contact not work out.

Really, you likely have history on your side. If she's been getting this exemption for a few years now and the town / county / whatever recognizes that she lives in the same place as before, then there's no practical reason why an extension can't be granted.

Anyway, mistakes happen. Sometimes they cost a lot of money. Sometimes it's other people's money. That's the way it goes. Learn from it, do your level best to correct the mistake, and move forward.

And get some calendar software. ; )

You can make two guesses PER POST. And you can make as many posts as you want, as long as they don't become edited (like if you post too fast and it merges with your last post before someone else has posted in between).

EXAMPLE:

You can say:

2 of Diamonds
7 of Clubs

in one post. Then wait until someone else posts in between, or 10 minutes have passed, so a new one doesn't merge with an old one, and make a new post with two more guesses, like this:

2 of Clubs
7 of Diamonds.

And repeat.

It means you can make one post with two guesses as fast as you want, as long as someone else has posted in between your last post. If no one else has posted since your last post, and it hasn't been 10 minutes, the forum software automatically merges your new post with the old one, and it becomes edited.
No. In order for your post not to be automatically merged, someone else must have posted since your last post OR at least 10 minutes have passed. Both of those means others had a fair chance since your last two guesses.

And see how it edited these two posts??? I made two separate posts, but because 10 minutes hadn't elapsed, AND because no one else had posted in between, the forum merged them and it became an edited post.
