CynicGenti: I know the top men are already very busy, but PLEEEEASE ask them to give Ultimas 7-8 another thought. Please.

TheEnigmaticT: Howso?
I'm sure he means by bringing them to Mac too which is a request I have as well.

I know, we are so demanding! Well, not really demanding so much as hopeful.
I'm lovin' gOg gradually flushing the "release days" and "release hours" nonsense down the drain.

This is what I meant. It would just be so much nicer to have the Ultima collection all on Mac. I understand 9 is not the same as it was made much later, but the Ultima 7-8s as I understand all ran under DOS just like 1-6. Please bring Ultima 7, 7.5, and 8 to Mac.

Works like a charm now, thank you sir!
Great news! I still scratch my head about Geneforge being Windows only though... was that not a Mac original?

If you want you can play them (or any other DOS games) in Boxer, that's the same thing GoG use for their official Mac versions:
http://boxerapp.com
First you need the game files, to get them install the Windows version using BootCamp, a virtual machine, an actual Windows PC or Wine (personally I use Wineskin, it's Wine but in an easy way). Then drag the folder containing the game files onto Boxer's importer and it will import all the game files, DOSBox settings by GoG and even the icon and wrap up everything nicely. Then all you need to do is double-click and start playing.

In fact I prefer Boxer over GoG's Mac versions because it's easier to install mods and you get Roland MT32 emulation, which had to get stripped out of the GoG standalone wrapper. Also, you need Boxer only once on you hard drive, not for every game, so it saves some space.
Nice updates. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much for the mac support!! Very appreciated.
Is anyone else having an issue with Broken Sword 2? When I copy it to the Applications folder from the disk image it crashes my Mac every time. Never had this issue until now...

UPDATE

OK so managed to copy the remastered version without any problem. Must be some sort of corruption in the original version. Not too fussed though as I already have that in ScummVM.
