There are two pieces of news we're bringing to you today. One can make some of you a bit disappointed, but the other is just pure awesome and should provide ample compensation. We won't reveal the surprise completely, though, because being enigmatic is part of what we do. First off: we're not having a promotion this weekend.

You know we won't leave it like that, right? That's where the awesome news comes in! Starting this Monday, June 20th, we're launching a special summer comments begin and check back to GOG.com on Monday!

Maybe GOG.com found out that so many people are interested in this "special summer 'staycation' big savings event" that they need more time to make sure that their servers won't break down when we start purchasing (and downloading) ?

Or maybe the GOG.com employees have been consumed so much by the whole "special summer 'staycation' big savings event" that they started a "Staycation" for themselves - where they just sit and play GOG.com games ;-)

Or maybe GOG.com found out that so many people are interested in this "special summer 'staycation' big savings event", and that many have generally high expectations to the "special summer 'staycation' big savings event", so that they have decided to make the sale even better so that they are working on giving us more games on offer... ?
