Thanks for your concern, wpegg. As far as I understnad many people here do not really re-gift the gifts they got, but rather share something they could afford to purchase (like me gifting bundle keys)/got for free somewhere and had already.
By the way, LotR 2 would not start for me - I have no idea why. I tried the first part and the graphics seem to have aged amazingly well - looks like a pixelated hand-painted drawing to me. :) The game is not easy to master, though. :) Do you recommend second part over the first?

Winning a game does not oblige a further giveaway. Your most recent one seems more on the money, as from what I've heard, steam codes just float about from people that have bought OEM graphics cards etc.
Well why don't you use the word "inspire" than? When I saw this was over I really wanted to continue the fun for all a bit, so I started posting small bundle codes around and now the train is rolling again. This is nice. Besides, no one forces anyone to gift stuff (I certainly do not).
You are right though, gifting is not easy financially, that is why I am keeping quiet for now.

No matter. While it's nice to receive, it's worth knowing that eventually the games will fall to someone who will play and enjoy. In my case, every steam win goes towards my brother's account. The thing keeping me back with GOG games however..... I keep trying to win more to pad out my collection, but this laptop is nowhere near what it needs to be to handle even a decently sized game. I managed to play Beyond Good and Evil okay, but I've crashed twice playing Real Myst, and I'm pretty certain the former is supposed to be the harder one to run. No matter. I go home for spring break soon, I can use the desktop.
Real Myst (at least the release I played back in the day, haven't installed my GOG copy yet) is kinda buggy, so that's probably the cause (possibly exacerbated by your hardware, of course). BG&E (at least the GOG version) seemed well coded and stable even under odd load conditions on my old laptop . . . actually it was my second GOG game, after Arx Fatalis (and may have been the first I played, actually). Fond memories! :-D
