By the way, LotR 2 would not start for me - I have no idea why. I tried the first part and the graphics seem to have aged amazingly well - looks like a pixelated hand-painted drawing to me. :) The game is not easy to master, though. :) Do you recommend second part over the first?
You are right though, gifting is not easy financially, that is why I am keeping quiet for now.

No matter. While it's nice to receive, it's worth knowing that eventually the games will fall to someone who will play and enjoy. In my case, every steam win goes towards my brother's account. The thing keeping me back with GOG games however..... I keep trying to win more to pad out my collection, but this laptop is nowhere near what it needs to be to handle even a decently sized game. I managed to play Beyond Good and Evil okay, but I've crashed twice playing Real Myst, and I'm pretty certain the former is supposed to be the harder one to run. No matter. I go home for spring break soon, I can use the desktop.
