I was hoping for something in the direction of a shooter, simulator or tycoon game for today, as I am absolutely not a fan of adventure games.
But so far you gog guys have released some great games already this year (of which I only bought one so far). Keep that going :-)

jimbob0i0: Nice... another on my wishlist :)
Here's hoping Ubisoft (they were publishers for other games in the series and they do have games here already after all....) allow Exile, Revelation and End of Ages.... I have many fond memories of Myst3: Exile :)

Oh yeah, I don't consider it complete until at least Exile is there!
The only Myst game I've not played! very cool
I'm...speecheless.
Thanks guys. Your awesomeness trully knows no bounds.
Great Release!
Although i bought and completed it recently. Shame :P
Sweet. First Myst game you guys have put that I haven't played before. This ought to be fun.
That whole online scene with URU was a mess. They had it open through Cyan for a while, but it closed shortly. Then Gametap picked it up and ran with it for several months, but dropped it (a shame, since they were actually putting out content for it). Who knows how large the Myst fanbase truly is, and if they would be willing to do all sorts of crazy shit with it?

One of the incarnations was even run on fan-hosted servers (shards), with only the login server being hosted by whoever it was at the time.
INSTANT BUY! ive been inlove with this since the beta demo... GOG you are my one true love!
So, is the GOG version online?
Last I heard, the game had been made into a second life mod.

The game is being modded left right & center, check guildofwriters.com. Lots of fan ages to be downloaded from there, and I believe Cyan is still planning to release the online game as open source, but don't hold your breath on that. This is good stuff, thanks GOG!
Ah, Uru, I remember being in the Prologue for this. They had a Christmas Tree and holiday lights on, with wearable Santa Hats you could find, during December before it was cancelled. =>_<=
Seriously though, I can't imagine Cyan actually going through with what they were announcing they would do: very minor daily updates, somewhat larger weekly updates, and a brand-spankin' new Age every month! =O_O=
As cool as that would have been, those Ages would either be quite small, or made up of "pre-fab" components, making cookie-cutter Ages, instead of the heavily detailed stuff we were used to. >_>
Anyhow, Uru was still a neat game, and I still have my hard copies, with the original boxes! :D
Though a diskless version would be nice... >_>
