With today's release of Uru, our collection of games hailing from the Myst universe is complete... At least until we manage to get you the remaining titles sometime.
[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/uru_complete_chronicles]Uru: Complete Chronicles consists of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst and the expansion packs The Path of the Shell and To D'ni. After releasing Riven, Cyan Worlds decided to let third-party developers produce future installments of the Myst series. Over five years and $12 million later, Uru was born. While it was originally designed as an MMO, it's a fantastic single player game in its own right, earning a cult following among countless gamers. An enthralling storyline is something to be expected from a game by Cyan, but the true icing on the cake are the graphics. Just take a look at those screenshots and try to imagine the game is seven years old!
GOG is on a roll!
Thanks!
Was hoping for this.
Picking it up along with realMyst on my next purchase spree.
This one dropped off my radar when the buzz was centred on MMO.
Now since It's also Single Player, Myst and an adventure/puzzle game, I better look into it. Been without pay for a few weeks, so wishlisted until a week or two when the next one comes.
Never quite likes the full 3D movement the series went down with on Uru and Myst5(?), but I'll adapt :)
Such a beautiful game. I look forward to playing this again.
Some of the riddles of path of the shell are pretty stupid (standing in a certain place for 10 real-time minutes, really?), but the worlds are simply breathtaking and worth exploring.

I completely missed everything myst-related past Riven. This has a multi player component? Or was it intended to have one?

This one, as I understand it is just single-player.
There was a multi player component called "Uru: Live", last I heard Cyan had gotten the rights to Live back from gametap and plan to release some/all of the tools and code under an open source license. This only applies to Uru Live, not the Uru released here.

Ah, that looks a bit like a mess. Well, it doesn't concern this release.
On my wishlist, for after I've recovered from the financial blow that my next credit card bill is going to be. Damn you, December sales! :P
Nice... another on my wishlist :)
Here's hoping Ubisoft (they were publishers for other games in the series and they do have games here already after all....) allow Exile, Revelation and End of Ages.... I have many fond memories of Myst3: Exile :)

Myst IV and V are published by Ubisoft, right? I'm sure you can get the rights to sell those without much difficulties... :)
edit: bah, beaten :(

AWESOME!
Almostinstabuy.
I only have the collector's edition of this one, not the expansions (well, one of them was free right, so I probably have that one), so this'll be added to my collection in a few minutes.
instant buy here thanks gog. This week has been a great week for games
Do want!
