Ghost Recon, it brings back so many great memories...
Great addition to the library :D

GG_Crew: Because the two expansions, Desert Thunder and Island Siege, added so much to the core game, I'm going to hold out until we get more info on the expansions.
Had lots of fun with GR back in the day at LAN parties. Definitely interested in revisiting it, but not without the expansions.

Wish I would have waited also. I had an urge to play some of the mods I used to play, but most of the better mods from www.ghostrecon.net need both expansions installed. I wanted to support gog so I bought Ghost Recon here and thought I could just buy the expansions from Ubi, but they dont work on the GoG version for some reason. Lucky I just bought Desert Siege first to try it out. The expansions from Ubi come in a zip folder that has the contents from the retail CD. Not sure why it's not working. Need a way to extract the data some how I guess. Guess I'll just hold out for a bit to see if GoG can get a hold them for us here.

I could never really get into these games. I only really tried to play the original Rainbow Six games but they were just too technical. I'd intricately devise my plan of attack..... only to immediately deviate from it as soon as I was within the map. I'll pass on this one.
Not to steal business or anything, but this does not have the expacks which are amazing by itself. In the end, I bought the Ghost Recon Gold edition with all the stuff inside (including both expansion packs) for less than 9.99 off Amazon UK. But I might still buy Rainbow Six 1 when it comes out on GOG.
GORKY 17
Release: Apr 8, 2009
I'm standing with my credit card close. :D

Hmm, you need an organizer/schedule for these games. Or maybe buy 10 computers and play them all at the same time!
Well I've got 4 but 2 of them can only be accessed through remote desktop and lets just say that gaming that way is NOT fun.
I really shoud get a schedule going but gog keep releasing shiny things...

You're missing out, because these games really did pioneer shooters as they are today... stupid, too tactical, lots of planning, ridiculous amounts of time wasted selecting weapons, and guess what? IT'S AWESOME.

Too tactical? Lots of planning? Where the HELL are you buying modern games? I demand the URL immediately! Or at your earliers convenience, either way works for me

I always misspell it. :P
Played this series years back, brilliant. Going to buy them again for sure, just not from here, price just doesn't make sense at all, bit dissapointed.

Buy it from here. Note that you'll need to go to More Buying Choices, because that's where the five pound ones are. Beats Steam. I agree, it doesn't seem right for $9.99, but that's what Steam sells it for.

ohh that's excellent, thanks. With that dilema solved, I can now nab that perimeter+Hostile waters offer.

You're very welcome. The fact that it's so cheap and it has all the expacks bundled in, everyone should get it!
