With four games and a bunch of additional content for each one, today's release of Battle Isle Platinum is one of the largest in GOG's history.

Battle Isle Platinum covers a huge chunk of the acclaimed turn-based strategy/tactics series and consists of:
- Battle Isle 1 including Data Disk 1 & Battle Isle ‘93 & Historyline: 1914-1918,
- Battle Isle 2 including Scenery CD “Titan’s Legacy”,
- Battle Isle 3 along with extensive video sequences,
- Incubation and the wilderness missions.
That's easily enough to keep your inner strategist busy for weeks, or months if you work for a living!

So, what is this series about, you ask? It's about strategy and tactics at their very finest. It's about using the units at your disposal to the best of your ability in order to achieve specific goals, rather than building an impenetrable fortress, preparing a massive zerg and spamming your enemy with it, rinse, repeat. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, the Battle Isle series is about a deep, involving storyline with a huge backstory, both in-game and in "feelies". The latter are, of course, available with our release in digital form.

Go ahead and see for yourself why this series achieved cult classic status.
INCUBATION!?!!!
Huzzah! It must be mine!!
Thanks for this, GOG. Battle Isle 3 is one of my all-time favourites!
Fantastic deal, some of the best game i ever played in same package. woud have payed 10 bucks for battle isle 3 alone
Awesome, awesome news. A bunch of great games for a GREAT price. And they're pretty hard to get nowadays too. An excellent release.
If you can get history line 1914-18 to work you are on a winner , I used to have It for my old amiga lent it out and never got it back. It is awesome, and well worth a play.

OMG! I was quiet for some time, but now it is time to say VERY BIG THANK YOU GOG!!!
Years ago I loved to play Battle Isle, but what is more important I have played a lot of History Line against my younger brother. It was first strategy game for him and he took a lot of beating in the beginning. But then he learned some tactics and became really good opponent and even started to win some battles....
Now my brother and me live in different countries and both have wives and children. But we both agreed that Battle Isle Platinum is awesome release and as soon as we meet gain we are planning to lock ourselves in one room with some beer and snacks and enjoy History Line again.
You gave us an opportunity to spend some priceless time together GOG. Thanks one more time!
awesome.

i actually played incubation again just a few months ago, but i couldn't find the wilderness missions anywhere, or even much information about them.

this is going to be great. i really need to quit my job or something, there's never enough time to keep up with all this!
Rock on!!!!!! Will have to snag this soonest! Battle isle is one of the first games that made me sit in the chair and feel like I was in total command of a game. Will have to return to to play an old friend. Now all that gog has to get for me is full metal planet, and both of the bitmapbrothers Z games
Why now? I've allready spend all my gaming money for the Baldur's Gate series earlier this month >.<

Anyway, this is a must buy for me.I remember playing History Line on a friends Amiga years ago and I also remember the desperation of trying to beat Incubation back when that game was released.

Every game of this package is worth the money and a reminder what Blue Byte used to be before Ubisoft bought them )8.

The package really makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy because i have the possibility to get some of the finest strategy games ever made. Sad because the bundle also reminds me of all the genres that are extinct on the pc market with turn based strategy being one of them and party based, turn based rpgs another one I really miss.

By the way, people who like Battle Isle should REALLY take a look at the Massive Assault-games (including Domination). They are awesome.

(and yes, the game called Massive Assault Network 2 does support single player)

Good Old Blue Byte :)

Great games!
Great release!

History Line as a secret bonus? Interesting story!

EDIT:

I THOUGHT I was safe, I decided I wasn't interested in this game. Could I leave it alone though? NO :( I read the reviews, I found an interesting review of incubation on youtube and now I fear that once again my bank balance IS.NOT.SAFE.

I have a love/hate relationship with you GoG!! I keep thinking I can avoid your tantalizing tasty treats and then you get me anyway in the end.
