chose 5 pots in my second purchase and got:

I already own anything on them that's even remotely interesting .. and the rest are just junk for me.

IAmSinistar: Erin go bra-less! This sale actually got me to buy Jack Keane 2 in order to finish out a cart.

Now I have to ask, do I need to play the first game to enjoy this? And do I also need a lobotomy to enjoy this?

MoP: You don't need to, but they throw you right into the action in part 2, so being familiar with the characters and setting is probably better. I'm a proponent of doing things in order, but you can always just treat the first one as a "prequel", continuity isn't exactly crucial to enjoying the game on it's own, so just jump in if you're in the mood.
Both are really fun, lively, light-hearted adventures ;)
Thanks very much! And I may even splash out of the first game if it goes on sale (too low priority and too much backlog to justify otherwise). Like you, I much prefer to take a series in its proper course. And I hate not getting the references, even when they are trivial.

Pretty much a push for me. Had Ittle Dw & the Penumbras elsewhere. Was going to get the Giana Sisters anyway, and Aqua Kitty looks like fun. Puddle, just not my thing.

I got the exact same set, minus Puddle, but that's because I bought Leisure Suit Larry. Overall it seems very mediocre. I was really hoping for Amnesia and/or Outlast. At least I didn't get much that I already owned on another service, just Penumbra Overture. None of these games look particularly great or bad.

I did buy 3 games and 2 pots:

- Hotline Miami
- Smugglers V
- Spelunky

Potgames:

- Aqua Kitty (looks fun and it's more likely that I have time for it than for those massive ISO-RPGs)
- Duke 3D (Hail to the King, baby!)

I strongly consider buying The Banner Saga and Memoria. Because of GOG going back to the roots I will probably do it and spend more money than I should!

Unfortunately Deponia 2 is not on offer (got Deponia 1 from a Humble Weekly Sale).

What is required to get a re-roll on the pots? I've bought 2 rounds of 5 and got 4 pots all new . . . but now every time I try to add the last 3 in the list I don't have and 2 pots I always get this must be a gift.

mudd1: This sale makes two of GOG's shortcoming painfully clear:

1) I own half of the games through Humble Bundle so picking them one at random will likely give me a game that I already own but not even as a gift code because GOG doesn't know about my Humble library. Also, manually checking what I already got is very annoying.

Well, Steam. Practically every game you buy on the Humble Store or get through a Humble Bundle, you also get on Steam.

If for some reason Humble and GOG can't come to an agreement, a "I already own this game elsewhere" checkbox would be a nice move. Yes, I know acknowledging that competition exists isn't exactly an easy move but it would go a long way in terms of customer satisfaction, at least for this particular customer.

I've bought 1 set of 5 games. Now no matter how long I wait or how many times I add and remove pots, it's always the same 5 games (that includes Giana which I never want to own). I have no interest in the other 4 games either, so I guess 1 set is all I'll be getting =)
