I'm really just a casual gamer, so I don't get excited about new additions. I have my old favorites (the Sierra "Quest" games), and a few rpgs (Fallout, Arcanum, basically turn-based combat games without resource-management). That's about it. I get excited when they release a game I've wanted (like Police Quest recently), but not beforehand while its still in the mystery stage.

Just me.

That's a fairly long thread about the announcement that none of you are excited about :) Well, everything will be clear on Thursday, so even if you're not excited as we are, hopefully the games we announce will put a smile on your face.

Yes and no, though I would label it more as "curiosity" than "hype".

Yes - the consumer side would like to see more of these great classics and add them to my library.

No - the over-consumer side takes a look at my as-yet unplayed titles in the same library and knows the backlog will just get larger and larger.

New additions are always great but the only one I would get excited about is Atari, and those games are already here.

Would love to see NWN2 complete with addons because I wanted to start the campaign in co-op via LAN just a few days ago (after finishing TW2) and couldn't because I only own one copy/set of keys...

LucasArts because I kinda wanna play X-Wing versus Tie-Fighter... and all those other Star Wars Games I never played...

or Electronic Arts, they got Westwood :O.... Lands of Lore.... YAY :O I would buy it because I'm the biggest Lands of Lore fan ever.."
