Mirror's Edge is great fun. Find a buddy with a 102 inch plasma screen and play it in a dark room with headbob on. Inside 3 minutes, you will have been motion sick on every surface in the room.

But I second Aliasalpha's "Demo" comment, and raise you a "Or try it at a friend's house."

Heck, for 10 bucks, buy it and if you don't like it, give it to a friend for Christmas.
"Are you sure this is a new game, GameRager?"
"Um, the DVD came this way, man."
"It looks like someone was sick all over it!"
"Coincidence."

GameRager: Lol....also omg, a staff member talked to me.

I'm not worthy! IM NOT WORTHY! *Bows*

Yeah, but what about my pal Mr. Pirate Bay? He has plenty of copies I can borrow. Maybe I'll try it out at his "house" later.

P.S. 102 inch plasma? wtf?!? Where where?!?
Your pal Pirate Bay is the kind of friend who'll sell you a pair of speakers that he "found" somewhere and then leaves you in the lurch when the cops come a'knocking, I'd avoid him were I in your shoes. :)

I'm not wholly sure that there are any 102 inch plasmas in production yet--although I recall seeing something about that stupidly big at last year's CES--but really, any TV big enough to mess with your brain's perception of motion would do. And doesn't everyone have a friend whose awesome tech you mercilessly take advantage of because you can't afford cool stuff yourself? I know I've always had one, since back in the day when there was a kid on my block who had a NES when no one else did. :D

GameRager: I'm on the chans all day. I have no friends. Well no friends in my area with a pulse. :\
Ah, well then. May I recommend meatspace, then? It's like an MMO with no subscription fees and extraordinary graphics but the worst gameplay mechanic you've ever seen. As far as I can tell, it's all grinding with no loot drops, although I've noticed that a lot of players seem to get better gear than I do for much less effort.

Clearly, the GM's suck.

:D

Aliasalpha: Meatspace? I've heard of that, supposed to be so realistic you should put on pants before playing
Really? I've never bothered with those, which may be why I'm finding level progression so hard.

My apologies, by the way, for continuing the derailment of your thread. I'm a bad role model. >.>
