Didn't they just say a couple of years back they need less sequels, and now they're talking about Crysis 2, Dead Space 2 and even hinting at Mirror's Edge 2

I'm not looking forward to those either. Both Dead Space and Mirror's Edge left me cold. Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed do the same better. I haven't tried Crysis but all I've heard and seen is "Wow it looks so good"

Still better than lackluster Bond's and the like though

The new Bond is pretty damned awesome (though nothing to do with EA)

When I think about it 007 Everything or Nothing was great but it's so old and doesn't make up for the other 3 or 4 horrible Bonds made around the same time and afterwards

YES....It was an awesome shootfest. Just because you don't like it don't mean it's crap.

Just that you have no taste. :p

GameRager: I'm on the chans all day. I have no friends. Well no friends in my area with a pulse. :\
Ah, well then. May I recommend meatspace, then? It's like an MMO with no subscription fees and extraordinary graphics but the worst gameplay mechanic you've ever seen. As far as I can tell, it's all grinding with no loot drops, although I've noticed that a lot of players seem to get better gear than I do for much less effort.

Clearly, the GM's suck.

:D
Meatspace? I've heard of that, supposed to be so realistic you should put on pants before playing

I'm gonna try a near vanilla setup of Baldur's Gatew trilogy soon. that'll be fun.

Really? I've never bothered with those, which may be why I'm finding level progression so hard.

My apologies, by the way, for continuing the derailment of your thread. I'm a bad role model. >.>

Pfft, back in my old forum (Anyone ever heard of MMGN?), I was one of the masters of dragging a thread off topic, if a thread was still on topic by the 5th or 6th post I considered it a personal failure
As far as Mirror's Edge is concerned, they really needed to double that campaign length and either avoid combat or make it a hell of a lot better than it was. But yeah, with a few extra moves in your arsenal I can see how a coop mode could work.
