This isn't the Texas you know, though. It's an odd twisted parody with just a little hint of magic. Strange people living there insist that you perform many strange tasks for them, and--strangely--you agree. On your way you'll meet many strange creatures, like fantastic animals and the undead. To make things even more strange, the town that you ended up in was built upon a vast underground dungeon. And the town's name? It's Strange, of course. Strange, Texas.
The Real Texas combines classic top-down action-RPG mechanics, strategic real-time combat, complex dialog system, and original surreal setting, to create a role-playing experience like no other. While there's much humor in the game and the zany world keeps you from taking it dead serious, there are some characters and occurrences that will surely make you stop and contemplate the human condition.
