If this year wasn't scary enough, we have some horrors for you.

Today, two acclaimed series of horror adventures, Gabriel Knight and Phantasmagoria, are available 75% off in our Belated Halloween bundle.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/gabriel_knight_sins_of_the_fathers]Gabriel Knight, a tormented young writter, came to be a celebrity of the point-and-click adventure genre. The first game he stars in--subtitled "Sins of the Fathers"--features beautiful pixel-art graphics, over 7000 lines of fully-voiced dialogues, and a dark story balancing on the verge of madness and occult. The game launched a successful and recognizable series that earned its place in the adventure games' hall of fame. Be sure to check the other two games that complete the trillogy: Gabriel Knight2: The Beast Within and Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

is a horror-themed adventure game, released in 1995, when the popularity of "interactive movie" titles was at an all-time high. It was the best-selling title by Sierra at the time, plus one of the best-selling titles of the year. The most distinctive feature of both [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/phantasmagoria]Phantasmagoria and Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh is that they went where other games never would in terms of on-screen violence and sex, causing a lot of controversy worldwide. If you want to know more about Phantasmagoria and it author, read an article by David Craddock which shows the history of the game and we hope will clarify some doubts.

Don't be scared! Five horror adventures in Belated Halloween bundle are only $8.45, today on GOG.com.

P1na: So, what other promos are left from the end of the world sale? I remember only the WWII games. Considering we have 2 more daily deals left, it may be time to get those extra titles I was waiting for.

Cool, thanks! so yes, I'll get my wallet ready.
GOG, you should do that Bullfrog sale again. ;-)

Maybe they'll pull them all out again on the last day. :D
These are all brilliant games, for very different reasons, but glorious in their own right (but I'm a sucker for all things adventure, and particularly FMV, so maybe I'm not the best gauge).

Just, as mentioned, mentally block off the ending to Phantasmagoria 2.
More great games from the great company Sierra Online!

It seemed like one of the most favorite ones, too; people that missed out on it originally may want to have at it again. :)
Any plans for a non-bundle sale on Hotline Miami before the end of the year sale is up? Cause if not, i'm probably going to wipe out the rest of my wishlist as the only reason I was waiting was so I could bundle my purchases and minimize the international charges from my bank.

I'd like another go at the D&D bundle myself so I certainly hope so!
The GK trilogy is the best piece of adventure gaming ever made, in my opinion. Fantastic storytelling.
I think I'm going to get this... nearly out of money, but I would like to try out GK3 (I have the first two), and Phantasmagoria was not on my radar but that article convinced me it might be interesting enough.

If there's anyone who either has or will likely be getting the WW2 bundle, and would like something from either this current Belated Halloween bundle or the Santa In Space bundle (which I already bought) but doesn't want the whole bundle, PM me if you want to trade codes and I'll buy you an extra copy of whatever it is as a gift code. All I want/can afford after today from the WW2 bundle is Medal of Honor AA, if we can swing it so both parties get 75% off our desired games after trading that would be great.

(To reiterate what's in the upcoming 2 bundles, copied from drennan's post:
World War II Games (Medal of Honor: Allied Assault + Commandos 1-3 + Blitzkrieg 1-2 + Panzer General 2 & 3D + S2: Silent Storm + Sniper Elite)
Santa in Space (Star Control 1-3 + Master of Orion 1-2 + Independence War 1-2 + Moonbase Commander + Nexus + Haegemonia + Fragile Allegiance)

I'm waiting for that too. It's been 50% off elsewhere for quite a while now and as much as I hate Steam and DRM in general, I just want the game at a reasonable price.

DaCostaBR: Than again I do feel that ANY game is worth that price, even if you don't like you'll still get something out of the experience. Besides what could you buy with that? A truckstop hotdog? I guarantee the game would last you a lot longer than it would for something like that to pass your system.
I'm going to bring the tone of the forum down a bit. Problem with that analogy is they might find the game really is the end result of that hotdog passing through your system and no one wants to play with that (I hope). :)

Thanks for that. Since I have all games in both those promos there really is no holding me back from buying some games at 50% off since I can be sure they won't come up with a better price. Sad thing is I just spent a small fortune on blu-ray movies and tv shows thanks to tempting retail specials so there isn't much money left
