This game was probably (at the time) the best game I'd ever played (when it came out).
I still thought tat years later though I was disappointed it was so brief and it was full price

I would love to revisit it
even bought it on ebay to be told by american seller he would not send it to me - even though I might have been willing to pay slow mail transport

anyway - if you get this game - which is in dead zone - another site clames to have it - but does not (you end up with a useless stub of a file - maybe led to a virus in sitantant days or maybe to a something right - who knows)

Anyway - this game was awesome!
please get it
I'd pay a tenner (pounds) for it - but only for memories - but it is DEF worth $7 or more for others - what is lacks in longevity it has in fun

EDIT: I have no idea why I posted Rise of the Dragon instead of Heart of China. They're both Dynamix though. And I liked RotD more so I guess I did it subconsciously? ;)

Yes, Heart of China was an awesome game! I really loved it too and would buy it instantly if GOG manages to get a working version.
Already voted for this one long ago, I would LOVE to see this on GOG, and same goes for Rise of the Dragon. Both would be instabuys. Please GOG, make it happen! :-)
I love this game too. :D

^ This, but...

according to MobyGames they were both published by Sierra On-Line, so would that make it now Activision?

Theoretically, it should, though the rights to some other Dynamix games have ended up somewhere else (eg Incredible Machine and Red Baron, both here on Gog through another publisher). If they still do belong to Sierra/Activision, I'm hoping the resurrection of the Sierra label might get Activision interested again in rereleasing some of Sierra's/Dynamix older classics here, like Heart of China, Rise of the Dragon and Willy Beamish (another Dynamix adventure).
Ooh, any similarity to Prince of Qin? I guess not since it's compared to Dishonored.

...?

Did you post in the wrong thread? Anyway, if you're looking for a game like Prince of Qin, look up it's prequel Seal of Evil.

Gonchi:
I had no idea what HoC was and wasn't in the best position to look it up.

Yeah, I played through SoE a few years back and really enjoyed it. Too bad the company that made those games went Isometric-MMO (last I heard).
RotD was awesome. Hasn't anyone mentioned the atmosphere and music? It was grrreat!
HoC never played much but that would be cool addition here :)
