Rise Of The Dragon completed
Please bring more Dynamix Games like Rise Of The Dragon. I hope GOG can get more classics like Rise Of the Dragon and Heart of China. These were great great DOS CD-ROM games back in the day. I too would love to see them here on GOG
This was an awesome game. I enjoyed a spate of adventure games at around the same time: Adventures of Willy Beamish, Rise of the Dragon, and Heart of China. Surprised to not yet see them for sale on GOG. Would love to buy these? I may have floppy disk versions somewhere still.
MORE DYNAMIX
Rise of the Dragon and Heart of China would be two titles I'd add
to my library as well!
We need the Dynamix games, especially their masterwork, Rise of the Dragon.
Shocking that this and other Dynamix games aren't here... though ROTD is "the one" that matters most, IMO, and that deserves to be preserved. If a hybrid of the console version (speech!) and original PC (uncensored) version could be made, that would be an *epic* service by GOG that I'd pay anything for!
Great classic! Available in the Internet Archive library (on-line only): archive.org/details/msdos_Rise_of_the_Dragon_1990
GOG definitely should try to get it.
RREEEAAAALLLLLY needs to be here. Possibly the finest example of cyberpunk and magipunk out there!
Personal favourite. Really deserving of a release on here.
A good old game that deserves to be on GoG :)
Epic game that needs to be here.
Agreed with the comment of Feb. 24, 2013 - adventure games by Dynamix (like Rise of the Dragon) are superb and should be on GOG :)
I love this game. It was another one of those games that was around when I had an Amiga as a kid but never really understood the story behind it. I played it again about 4 years ago before my Amiga decided to finally give up after nearly 20 years of usage and would love to play this game through again. I am surprised that the votes are not higher as this was a game by Dynamix whom was apart of Sierra before being finally completely absorbed by them. A great game that deserves a come back!
You can get it on Abandonia.com... but I'd rather have a GOG version with DosBox fine tuned for the game already and an installer. I LOVED this game.
Great game
Who's got the hold on this? If Dynamix was absorbed by Sierra, then it should be Activision. Hopefully they will only be caring about the next Call of Duty by now, and just license all the back catalogue to GOG...
I'd really hoped to find this classic game here on gog. I played the 10 disc amiga version and it was one of the best games on that machine. Don't remeber if I ever beat it. Need to do it now!
I would love to see gog get this game. A true classic. Probably the best game ever released for the failed Sega CD. Which is the version I owned. In fact I think I might still have it somewhere. To bad my Sega CD stopped working 15 years ago.

Such a shame that so many people are so unaware of this classic. When I was a kid I had the 256 colour version (on an Amstrad 286!) which worked a little clunky but did work. I managed to finish it.
When our computer was updated I found, to my chagrin, that the disks had been corrupted somehow. Years later I found a copy of the game in an op shop and bolted home to relive it only to find that it was the 16 colour version. Just wasn't the same.
Surely this world needs to be reintroduced to the 256 colour masterpiece..
Man I loved this game back in the day.... I never beat it though
From the Wikipedia entry:
Dragon gave the game 5 out of 5 stars.[1] In 1991, Rise of the Dragon won a Special Award for Artistic Achievement from Computer Gaming World magazine.[2]
In 1996, Computer Gaming World ranked it as the 83rd best game of all time, stating: "So good that a rival publisher tried to steal it, this cyberpunk game used rotoscoping, hot spot mapping, and cinematic cuts long before they were standard,"[3] as well as the 12th most innovative computer game for pioneering of "using a dynamic, hot-spotted map as the game world travel interface."[4]
I've got the 3.5's too. Would love to see this.
loved this game!!! still have it on 3.5 for Macintosh lol..... dont have a disk drive or a mac anymore haha.
Administrators! Please put this, The Adventures of Willy Beamish and Heart of China on GOG Please!
Best game ever! Would love to play again!
Would love to see this on GOG.
An absolute challenge but worth the experience.
Fantastic game!
Excellent game (except for the side-scrolling levels).
