We're giving away 100 games a day to our users to celebrate our 5th birthday!
For the last 5 years we've been doing our best to bring the best games in history to your home computers. Now, we're celebrating our birthday, and we want you--our users--to have a blast! That's why for the next five days we'll be giving away 100 games a day via our different channels (the forums, social media, YouTube). The details of each giveaway will be revealed on day to day basis, so make sure to drop by daily and see what are we up to.
Today, we've planned something special for our long-time users, and it's all going to go down right here, right now--in the forums. We'd like to honor the people who have been with us the longest. If you think you're one of these people, post a comment in the forum thread below. Include the number of days you're on GOG.com (just upload a screenshot of the "Days on GOG.com" of your Account Info Page--please include that number in your post as well, to make our job a little easier, thanks!) and give us a one-sentence statement on what was it exactly that made you register with GOG.com. The first 100 users with the most time since registering will be sent a $9.99 gift-code.
You have time until tomorrow, that's Tuesday, October 1, at 2:59PM GMT to enter the giveaway, as at that time we'll be moving to another communications channel with a new set of rules. So, GOG.com old-timers, show off how long have you been with us!
I've been a member for 1407 days. Not sure that will be enough to win this but oh well :)

I think I came here originally because I wanted to play some of the old Sierra games again. And stuck around.

I joined GOG to buy good old games. : )
1803 days?! Wow, I'm surprised! And 7 days before my own birthday. :-D

The reason why I joined up with your guys is because I could relive the great games of old. Thanks for that! :-)

1286 days at the time of posting, I've been here since the 23rd of March 2010. I think I signed up when I discovered it as an alternative to abandonware sites, but it's lost in the mists of time.

I actually came here after searching for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and have been addicted to the DRM free standard and awesome back catalog since.

I signed up because you had many good games which spiked my nostalgia. And they were DRM-free too!

Wow, I forgot it was my account birthday a few days ago.

I came for the DRM free classics that would work on my computer without having to get different DOSbox setups for each game. Now GOG does it for me.

1376 days and counting.

I had some points on the old loyalty program on the cdprojekt.pl site, so I used them to get a code for Gorky 17 on some weird site I've never heard before. And after that, well... I'm still waiting for Freelancer to be released here. :P

1844 days. Love old school games, hate DRM, and want to show support for the idea that good games at the right price point with no restrictive malarkey is a business model that can succeed!

I think I originally joined to get the Fallout games, and possibly Caesar 3. It was a while ago...

1640 days of Bliss! This site allows me to reconnect with those older games that I grew up playing and find those others that I didn't get a chance to play. Thanks GoG!!!
