Well, I would say what do other people think normally, but that might be a long wait..;o)

A lynch is still better than a no-lynch. It's unlikely that there will be huge changes over the night, so most likely the main suspects today will be the main suspects tomorrow. Even if we lynch a townie, that means we won't be distracted with that tomorrow.

Anyway, since the deadline has passed the point is probably moot. I do believe I am the only one at two votes, which means I'll be lynched.

You bicker all day. You have been arguing in the town hall since the early morning and soon most of you just run of arguments. Now it's almost evening and you all are tired and only want to go to bed. But you need to lynch someone, right? There are scums among you and unless you get rid of them quickly you can all wake dead soon. This you agree. You don't agree who the scum is, though. Most of you is sure of their suspect but sadly others don't share thir sentiment. Only Robbeasy and ViolatorX are able to agree with thier suspicions. They both are sure Zchinque is evil and has no place in this peaceful town. They soon start to attack him and are getting ready to end his miserable life. But others seems not to care and leave the meeting hall. Zchinque is unfortunately too strong for Robbeasy and ViolatorX and they soon give up as they realise they won't be able to do it alone. With sigh of resignation they let him go and leave the hall too.

Nobody is lynched, day ends with nolynch.

To explain it, although I said that player with most votes gets lynched I am not willing to lynch player with only 2 votes. Be it 3 maybe and 4 for sure but not only 2. Sorry for confusing you but I had it on my mind all the time, only I didn't tell you.

It was a pleasant night. When you gather in town hall once again you feel well rested and ready to lynch some scums. You quickly and bit afraid look around if someone is missing but only different thing you notice is strange face of one of you. You go talk to him and soon discover that Silverfire went through some operations and became QuadrAlien over the night.

I know this is a 'newbie' game, but are the Mafia that bad??!! Makes me wonder if it is a standard game or has our MOD thrown a couple of twists in??

I'd say that under the circumstances there's the additional very slight possibility of Vitek altering the results slightly to prevent my entire contribution to the game being "I'm coming to help you... URK! Och, I'm bad at this!", but I suspect he wouldn't have placed the additional call for another player if that were going to be the case. :P

Still, I suppose I'd better start reading through the thread. Well, possibly tomorrow (in real time), anyway - it is half past midnight over here, after all.

Id disagree with that as weve spent the entire month going in circles and with no kill we are exactly where we were yesterday and thats only a bad thing

We're not exactly where we were. Players have changed, lack of night kill means someone knows something more and the results from yesterday have some interesting properties.. 2 people voted for one person and 2 people abstained voting. It's possible one of these groups are the mafia working together (i.e. lets try and get this person killed or lets sit back and watch).

What is standard practice for claiming roles. We should have a bigger advantage over the mafia than the average town at this stage of the game, would it be worth considering pooling our information and seeing where it can lead us? I look to the experienced members of our mafia table.

Doing so very carefully I would imagine.

It paints you as a target if it is pro-town role (why someone would claim a pro-mafia role is beyond me...) so its mainly used as a last ditch effort to not get lynched - sometimes untruthfully, would you believe :P

I'm still in Scotland at the moment (with limited internet time), but doing the long drive tomorrow and I'll be able to contribute regularly again from Sunday onwards. :)

Someone must know why nobodys dieing, it would be impossible for the mafia to win if they didnt have the ability to kill...
