[url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/the_witcher_series__gem__promo/]The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - Director’s Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Enhanced Edition cross their towering titles and their shiny swords with a massive 66% discount for the next 48 hours if you buy both. If for some reason (we suspect insanity) you don't want both games, you can still save 50% off if you just buy one of these two great titles. This offer ends Friday, July 20 at 10:59 AM GMT.

If some wicked twist of fate prevented you form getting your copies of the two CD Projekt Red RPG masterpieces, here’s your chance to right the wrong. You can follow the witcher, Geralt of Rivia, through both of the acclaimed, story-driven games for just one third of the regular price. Pick up The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for as low as $3.39, and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for only $13.59.

Geralt is a wandering monster slayer from the order of the witchers. In a perfect world he would travel from one village to another, killing ghouls and wyverns for a hefty pouch of gold, celebrating his victories with fine mead and ale at local inns, and then waking up each morning (or noon) next to the woman he loves. But the world of The Witcher is far from perfect -- teeming with hatred, dark magic, cruelty, prejudice, dirty politics and outright stupidity. But all the things that make Geralt’s life harder contribute to one of the most vivid, believable game worlds in cRPG history.

Both games are third person perspective action-RPGs highly praised for their rich environment, mature story and juicy dialogs. Get The Witcher and The Witcher 2 in their most polished, up to date versions for only $16.98 for the next 48 hours.

SimonG: Wasn't the GOG Gem Promo supposed to showcase lesser known quality games?

Those are very good deals, of course. I'm just saying, consistency doesn't seem to be GOGs strong point in recent month ...
We just had that battle of the gems promo though so we had a lot of that this month.
Damn, that is cheap for The Witcher 2. And I was planning on not spending any more on games till Christmas. :|
Aww shit. Not enough cash, stranger.
Awesomesauce!

tarasis: I would pick up Witcher 2 but as my current machine can barely play Witcher 1 (indeed I gave up playing because it ran so poorly) I will hold off for now. One day.
For some odd reason, it looks like CDProjekt didn't release a demo for this either so it's a NO buy for me. Not sure if my computer will run it, and not willing to waste 14 bucks to find out :(
I already own both of them, but it s great price anyways.
Ah I would but I already own both from you guys, and sadly still haven't found the time to play them (plus my system needs to be a little more beefy). Still if there is still anyone on GOG without these games surely now's the time to remedy that.
Own W1. Can't see when I'll buy PC capable of running W2.

Isn't that wrong? I think you get a 66% discount when you already own one game and buy the other one.
Unfortunately not. I have the original Witcher. I would have loved to buy WItcher 2 at 66% off, but it doesn't give me the option, since I can't buy both (for myself) now. It's only 50% off.

Also, it would have been cheaper for me to buy both rather than only Witcher 2. WTF, GoG? Never thought I'd regret buying Witcher 1 during BOTG.

You actually can. GOG's system is screwed up but, once you put it in your shopping cart, you get the 66 percent off so $13.49 I think?

Just realized that. Yes, if you click the promo link. you still get the deal. Never mind my ramblings, then. Also, insta-bought.
Own both, bought both of them for full price because CDprojekt deserves it

Really love that the "Buy more, pay less" Model is back, it should be like this for every promo
I found a bug: when you choose to buy both games (66% off then) but have one of the games already then you just get the price of the game you don't have AND it's still 66% off. That means 13,59$ for the Witcher 2.
