I've seen (and sadly, downloaded) a few games found on GOG on BitTorrent. How does GOG feel about this? Why would people do this? The games are cheap (in my case, expensive).

So? ;)
GOG frowns on the discussion of piracy on its boards.

Well, since the games are so cheap to US citizens, they're not really losing money, are they? BitTorrent is illegal (distributing games and other copyrighted material is), but for me, it'ss the only option for now. So, i was wondering if GOG does something about this.

Well I don't think that advertising the fact on their forums is particularly a good idea if you're concerned about repercussions. Your best bet would be to buy the games you downloaded (al least the ones you want to keep).

The only reason I can enjoy pirating is because I used to watch old toons on Youtube before Viacom stepped in with an Iron Hammer and removed anything dealing with the 90's WB toons like Freakazoid & Pinky And The Brain. I have the introduction to both on my comp now due to being able to rip MP3 files from FLVs, but sadly, I quit youtube around the time when this happened. Still, I hope those of you that do check out those torrents purchase the games from GoG.Com when you have the money. Support this awesome website so we can get even more odd and off the wall games of old!

That said, I don't pirate much beyond old shareware anymore. My last thing being Heros of Hoboken, an old click and point game with failure superheros. Worthy of being talked about on this site at least.

By the way, GOG is not getting away anymore, it seems.

Just checked... almost every game is available on X and Y. EDIT: There is a thread on X with more than 250 GOG games.

OK, do I understand it right? You have twinge of remorse and want GOG to send its commandos to murder you and save your soul? Or is there something else I don't get?

You came on the GOG forum, to tell them you stole their games?

They do it because other people download it.
Yea, these games have been up there for a while now. But PLEASE don't alert people to it's presence. Just let this thread die. No more posts please.

These.
Pirates doesn't matter. The sons of bitches will never buy the games anyway. Best way to grow the costumer base is to deliver the best possible service to the legitimate consumer. Focusing on pirates is a waste of time and manpower.

I usually don't swear, but of pirates I will only say this: F*ck 'em.
