Welcome aboard, space-detective.

Consortium: The Master Edition, a unique sci-fi investigation, combining an innovative dialogue system, with RPG elements, and a terrific plot, is available 65% off on GOG.com. That's only $6.99 for the next 24 hours!

Taking place entirely aboard a huge futuristic aircraft, Consortium is a first person role-playing game, that will have you reminiscing about your favorite sci-fi show's best episode. As an investigator you will have to get to know the crew and negotiate multiple outside threats, while getting on with your inquiry into the on-board murder. The story unfolds based largely on your actions. You may use diplomacy and talk your way through the entire game, never firing a shot, or decide to use force increasing the number of casualties. To enhance the mood even further, the game features great voice-acting and an original orchestral score from the award winning composer Jeremy Soule (available as a bonus MP3 download). With all the original launch day problems patched up Consortium truly delivers on its promise of an intense sci-fi murder mystery.

If you're in need of a strong sci-fi narrative with an innovative storytelling technique, get Consortium: The Master Edition for only $6.99 on GOG.com. The offer lasts until 9:59AM GMT, on Thursday, September 18.
It's good. I'd very much like for it to be longer, though. They sacrificed length for replayability.

Martek: even if that means waiting awhile (even years - aka Bioshock which I got off Humble recently with no DRM) to get it.
Was this part of a bundle? Bioshock is a game I'd like to play some day but I can't find it in their store.

It was part of their 2K bundle. It also featured the five original X-Com games DRM-free, so I thought it was a very nice deal. All the other games in it (including Bioshock 2) were Steam-only though. :-(

For what it's worth 21,000+ people voted for this: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/continue_to_add_more_good_old_games

Ultimately it comes down to what sells. I don't see indies like this game really a whole lot to keep GOG afloat (vs. big-name indie titles like Wasteland 2 and Dreamfall Chapters), but if that's what people want...
Edit: Nevermind. :)
