Shalgroth: Exactly. I don't think there ever will be, if the original and its expansions are anything to go by.
Speaking of expansions, I might go play the episodes...

Half Life had an ending. Even if it paved the way for a sequel. I don't know when we can expect Episode 3 though. Valve haven't said a damn thing about it and it's way behind schedule.
Episode 2 is particularly good. There's nothing wrong with Episode 1, but it's just more of the same. It's a shame you missed out on the Half Life weekend sale though.

Yeah, Half Life did have an ending, that's true. It didn't have a solid conclusion, in my eyes atleast.
Never fear about the sale though, I've been sitting on the Orange Box for a year now.. Only JUST starting to play the Half Life side of it. *slack*
I just finished GTA 4. I have to say that after a poor start the story really starts to pick up and there are some great moments. Shame that I ended up using Taxi's all the time because the car handling is just so bad.
Death Rally!
Edit: Also, Adam's Venture Ep. 1. Entertaining, but only lasted an hour (give or take fifteen minutes). Must be some kind of record for a boxed game. Felt like the introduction was over, and then the credits appeared...

Yeah, it's like every car was made out of Play Doh or something, it was that bad.
I just finished Stranglehold. I really enjoyed it, and when it started getting old, it just went ahead and finished. It wasn't the longest game ever, but I got it for $6 and it entertained me, so I'm not complaining.
Finished Red Faction Guerilla (PC). Would like to add that I did get it working alright, but the moderators on their official forums should be fired, as they're apparently completely illiterate.
Just finished "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" today (bought it from GOG!).
Also: "Half-Life: Blue Shift", "Half-Life: Opposing Force", "Droplitz" (it's a casual game, but I've unlocked all boards and modes, so I guess it counts), "Chains".
Messiah. - Hmm. I don't think i'd recommend it. Though it had a couple of great parts and ideas.
Finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The jumpy stuff I feel the same way, as I do about the Sands of Time games: The people who dealt with the fucking static camera should have their fingers skinned, so that they may never work with video games again. Randomly removing manual camera control is a sin, and the best way to piss me off to no end. Apart from that, and a few quirks with the shooting stuff, it was pretty cool.
Finished Serious Sam 2. Still a good game, but definitely not the same feeling than the other episodes. The humor is lame at best, the graphics a little too cartoony and i hate the "console-type" lives !
Finished a full story run on Titan Quest Immortal Throne and Sacred Gold (original campaign, not Underworld).
If anyone asks, I was getting prepared for Torchlight. After Tuesday, I don't think I'll play any other Action RPG game for a long time.

What about Diablo 3? Not a fan?

While I can't speak for him, I think it'll be a pretty long time until Diablo 3 is released. May not even make 2010.
