Andersvandalen: I got the Witcher 2 some time ago, the Skidrow version to be specific.
Wow, you must be, like, the biggest moron in the world.

You know, we would be much more inclined to help you if you had actually bought the game. We don't serve pirates.

Andersvandalen: I played and all was good.
Then buy it, support the developers and the community.

People like you are the reason for why legitimates like me have to put up with things like DRM, day-one DLC and the some. You are the reason the PC only plays second-to-last-tier to the consoles and why most publishers don't want anything to do with our platform. I hold you responsible, you and every other pirating filth out there.
So, it is only right you should have problems, and you can either buy the game or get out. Mind the door.

bansama: It always amazes as to how stupid pirates must be to actually admit to pirating something on the publisher's own site.
Reminds me of this.
New user or not you will get torn to shreds for this, for gods sake you didnt even pput this topic in the right forum. If you hadnt been so upfront about where you got it then we may have helped. I dont know about other users but i have a little list of pirate idiots that i ignore. You are on that list as of now.

Skystrider: (snip)
Amen to this. Couldn't put it better!

Paradoks: Reminds me of this.
Yeah, that's one of the more funny responses.

Couldn't say better myself.

Oh, um guys? I got the whole GOG catalogue through TPB. We're still cool, right?

Skidrow is a "cracker" group; they crack the copy protection on software, then release their results via torrent and the like for pirates like the OP to use.

No.

OP, since you have obtained the Skidrow "release", I'd say you should ask them for support. Oh wait...

Haha! Reminds me of all those stupid thief stories where they try to take their goods to customer service. I remember someone saying that the whole catalogue was on TPB, I bet if I made a thread about it some of them would come out of the wood works.
