Hey everyone, this is my first post on the "GOG" but i believe that this forum might be the remedy to my situation, or so i hope. Anways, here goes.
I got the Witcher 2 some time ago, the Skidrow version to be specific. I played and all was good. The framerate was horrible, but taking my computer into account, it was all good.
Then all of a sudden, the 1.1 patch is released. I download, install it, and SMADOOOSH! my framerate went upp like 10+ and i could even tweak the config, and enable some more stuff.
But this is where it began, the stuttering. The issue that i know is troubling a lot of us RPG'ers out there. It's like, the game skips a frame when moving, running, during combat and cutscenes its not there. Just when you try to get from A ----> B, and it sorta ruins the immersive feeling of you being there when you hack yourself through the epic locations.
I got version 1.2 a week ago, hoping that it would solve the issue with the frameskip. but no.
So here i am ** SPOILER ALERT ** in Act 2, Forest outside of Verden, running around and losing my cool here. I really don't want to play the game like this. I love it, but not like this.
So, i reach out you guys, and eventual girls, what to do? I know that there are a lot of people that have the same problem as i am. I've been looking ALL over the interwebz for some sort of solution and tried at least 10 methods but so far none of them have worked out.
PLEASE HELP.
