Don't mess with the Loa of vengeance!

Shadow Man, a remarkably dark and gripping action-adventure game based on the voodoo-filled comic book series, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $2.39 for the next 24 hours!

They say that magic of blood is the ultimate kind of magic. It pleases the mighty dark spirits of the Deadside, giving its user power that no human being should ever wield. But the human soul is easily corruptible by such temptations. There are always those, who would reach for the forbidden fruit. They will kill to taste it. They will kill again to keep it. But the Man of Shadows, the traveler between the worlds, stands guard. His destiny is to maintain balance between the Deadside and the Liveside. By the power of gruesome voodoo artifacts, he's implored to stop all strife--by any means necessary.

Shadow Man is a third-person perspective action game that will amaze you with its dark story and aesthetics. You will explore two overlapping worlds, held together by the power of eternal magic. The nonlinear gameplay will take you to numerous impressive locations with many terrifying enemies to defeat and clever puzzles to solve. If you enjoy action games with deep and unique setting, solid gameplay, and dark mood, you can't go wrong with this comic book-inspired classic!

Start your fascinating journey through the dark realms of bloody magic and madness in Shadow Man, for only $2.39 on GOG.com, today! The offer lasts until Tuesday, November 12, at 10:59AM GMT.
Great game, great promo!
Tempting, but I already own it on PS1 and didn't play it until today. Maybe I should do that some time soon.
Very happy to see a sale so soon for this :)
I'm happy it went on sale. Also puzzled by the quickness of it going on sale. Oh well, I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.

jakob187: Damn. Wish I had waited to buy it now. Oh well. It's still awesome and worth every penny.

I'd love to see Shadow Man: Second Coming hit GOG.com as well, even if it was an inferior game.

Also, what are the chances of...say...The Suffering and its sequel Ties That Bind? Those games were AWESOME! I really want some non-ad supported versions of those (as the Air Force-sponsored copy drives me insane).
I absolutely adored Ties that Bind, still bummed out that the retail version was infested with starforce.

As for ShadowMan? Yoink!

Nirth: Are the ads still active? Also, why did they sponsor that game? It was really weird.
I honestly have no clue. I think it was just a thing of "I'll bet troubled young teens are playing this game at some point five years after it is relevant, so let's use our advertising to get people to join and invade other countries" or something along those lines.

Nonetheless, it's annoying...and I'd die to get both of The Suffering games on GOG.
