SalarShushan: Those are good lists. I'd love to see more casual games come to GoG, especially Hidden Object-y ones ;)
very easy to get sucked into a hidden object game. I was / am a huge fan to get an adventure fix. =)

catpower1980: Point 'n' Click adventure games in general : no skills required and the interface/gameplay is more or less the same
Point 'n' click adventures are the friggin' toughest and hardcore genre I know. Seriously, I've played dozens of them and only managed to beat ONE without resorting to a walkthrough or FAQ.

Edit: Well, three if you count the Samorost games. :P The other one was Sanitarium, if anybody cares.

Great game!! Half the fun is how hard it is. =) and the exploring and clicking every damn thing you see.
4X Games (Like MOO and Civ) can be played in short bursts if you can resist the "Just one more turn..." syndrome.

As I said, it's one of VERY few point and click adventure games I actually managed to beat without any help so as far as I can tell it's pretty darn easy. I mean, it was still quite a challenge to me but I presume that it's a piece of cake to any point and click enthusiast.

ChrisSD: What games on GOG would you recommend for when you've only got maybe 10 to 30 minutes to play every once in awhile?
Triple Town, maybe. It's probably the most casual game on GOG and perfect for short bursts.

I came here just to say this very thing although, I tend to drop hours on it.
Why has no one mentioned Treasure Adventure Game yet? It's FREE, it's casual and I at least enjoyed it.
Desktop Dungeons was made exactly for that purpose in mind. Otherwise most sport games (Sensible Soccer) or racing games are perfect for your purpose - fix playtime (2-3 matches or races) and easy to come back later.

I think you were (are?) able to play it on Facebook too

it remains a solid game regardless. I am looking forwards to the new game the dev is working on

Tower of Guns is made to be lunch break game, and it is really really good.

One run can last 40-60 minutes if you are lucky, but most kill you in 10 to 20.
I want to recommend you Neighbors from Hell, quite funny game, I truly enjoy it, and really fits that time window you ask.
