JumBie187: ... or how I can possible force it on ... some older games such as Arcanum of Steamworks and Fallout tactics.
As long as the game supports windowed mode, you can also use the tool
WindowedBorderlessGaming.
The main problem with all borderless tools might be getting the games into windowed mode in the first place.
With Arcanum, you'll have to apply
the community patch and the High Resolution Patch to adjust the window size later on.
Then edit the game's shortcut and add -window to the end of the target field.
The game might crash now until you remove/rename ddraw.dll in the game's installation folder. But you have to have
all older components of DirectX9 properly installed on your system.
For games which don't offer windowed mode, you can try using
DXWnd, a tool that redirects DirectX fullscreen output into a window.
With a bit of tweaking WindowedBorderlessGaming works fine with all DOSBox titles, as well. (Set DOSBox's Graphic mode to DDraw; PM me if you're experiencing any problems setting it up)
