granmacco: Hello!

I bought a while ago the Dungeons and Dragons pack. Already own Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and NWN on DVD, but those extras and the price really made fall for it. Unfortunately, I think I run into some kind of problem :S

I went to buy the games via PayPal, as always. I logged into PayPal and confirmed the payment, as always. But then... The browser doesn't responds, and I cannot go back to GOG. So right now, I have already paid for the games, but the GOG system doesn't recognises it! :(

Have any of you experienced this? Did your problem get solved quickly? GOG solves this refunding the money, or finishing the order? Seriously, I want the games, but I don't like the idea of being charged twice for the same thing. But I neither want to miss the sale, lol.

Well... Can someone help me please, or tell me what happened to you with problems like these?

Thank you very much in advance :)

By the way, english is not my native language, so excuse any bad grammar or spelling mistakes :S
If you've got the proof of payment on your end, we should be able to straighten things out. Let me know if you don't hear back from support in a day or two.

Also, please be sure that you have asked Support for help, since I can't do much for you until you do. ;)

granmacco: I'll take your advice and email directly to support@gog.com. The worst that can happen is that they receive two messages from me! lol
I talked to Firek and he said that he's seen your email. I didn't explicitly ask, but I assume that he replied, too. Did everything get sorted?
Yeah, sorry about this. I was on a 2-week vaycay and just got back yesterday. There's still some stuff I need to go through, and stuff. ;)

I have accepted your initial order and am looking into refunding the second payment. This is a very rare bug that happens outside of our own payment system, however we will soon have a "safeguard" that will allow us to conveniently (or automatically) find and re-process such orders within 24 hours, without anyone having to contact us. I apologize for the trouble.
