We're giving away 100 games a day to our users to celebrate our 5th birthday!

For the last 5 years we've been doing our best to bring the best games in history to your home computers. Now, we're celebrating our birthday, and we want you--our users--to have a blast! That's why for the next five days we'll be giving away 100 games a day via our different channels (the forums, social media, YouTube). The details of each giveaway will be revealed on day to day basis, so make sure to drop by daily and see what are we up to.

Today, we've planned something special for our followers. All you have to do is to follow our profile and tweet: <span class="bold">"Over 600 DRM-free games in 5 years [url=http://j.mp/GOGCatalog]http://j.mp/GOGCatalog. Happy Birthday, @GOGcom! #GOG5Bday". That's it--you've entered the draw. Out of all the people who do this, we'll pick 100 users who will be sent a $9.99 gift-code. You have time until tomorrow, that's Wednesday, October 2, at 2:59PM GMT to enter the giveaway, as at that time we'll be moving to another communications channel with a new set of rules.

EDIT:
Have you participated in one of our 5th birthday contests, but are still waiting for its conclusion? We're a bit overwhelmed by the number of entries, as this is the ongoing biggest series of giveaways in the whole of GOG.com history. Please be patient, well sort it all out, eventually, and everyone who was lucky enough to win something will be notified. Sorry for the delay!

le_chevalier: You mean wrong site. GOG's not even that old. That guy's lost. :D

No site is that old...it works out to 453,601 years. =D

And, I'm with the others: I'm not going to spam friends or people I've worked hard to get in my network. I already talk to certain people about GOG deals I think they might be interested in, but this crosses the line.

You know how much I love you guys, and I'm sincerely glad your party is such a success this year, but I haven't entered any contests except the word search; it's the only one that seemed to include ALL of your customers. The rest have all seemed designed to exclude certain people (although I may have missed a day or two). This is not a complaint per se, just an observation...and perhaps food for thought if you do another party next year.

I enjoy seeing people say "I don't use Twitter" because that increases the odds of winning for those that do. :) Twitter has been a good way for me to win things in the past but never from GOG. Let's see if that changes!

Also - it's nice to see that GOG does so many different types of giveaways and contests.
