We're giving away 100 games a day to our users to celebrate our 5th birthday!

For the last 5 years we've been doing our best to bring the best games in history to your home computers. Now, we're celebrating our birthday, and we want you--our users--to have a blast! That's why for the next five days we'll be giving away 100 games a day via our different channels (the forums, social media, YouTube). The details of each giveaway will be revealed on day to day basis, so make sure to drop by daily and see what are we up to.

Today, we've planned something special for our followers. All you have to do is to follow our profile and tweet: <span class="bold">"Over 600 DRM-free games in 5 years [url=http://j.mp/GOGCatalog]http://j.mp/GOGCatalog. Happy Birthday, @GOGcom! #GOG5Bday". That's it--you've entered the draw. Out of all the people who do this, we'll pick 100 users who will be sent a $9.99 gift-code. You have time until tomorrow, that's Wednesday, October 2, at 2:59PM GMT to enter the giveaway, as at that time we'll be moving to another communications channel with a new set of rules.

Exactly my case, hard part was guessing the password :D

Yeah, doesn't look like many people are taking this offer. Even though this is probably the only one this week that I might have a chance of winning I really don't want to do simply because I hate Twitter, and the Twits on Twitter Tweeting about their Twats.....? Wait what? Oooow now I'm confused. Ow well, I may sign up any way just to get a free game. Hopefully gog will start breaking out the 5year birthday sales and we can all get what we want :-D

Why do people sometimes complain for no reason? Is it just for the sake of complaining?
Yes I'm complaining about the complainers so I'm part of the problem in this instance and not the solution.

Ok, so what if todays contest is to try to get the word out on twitter about GOG? Not every contest from every company is going to be tailored specifically for you. If that were the case, the person running the contest would be your mom and it would be for your 5th birthday party.
These threats of I'm done with GOG for trying to force me to use twitter are so lame. So todays contest doesn't appeal to you. Maybe tomorrows will, maybe it wont. They've ran a bunch of different contests since they began celebrating their birthday and in each one were the lamest of the complaints about the time it began, the time it didn't begin, not having enough English language knowledge to re-arrange words to form the name of a game, too many newbies showing up, too many vets with 5 year accounts, too many newbies who are vets. And now we have how dare you try to make me use twitter??? FU GOG!!!! Wait till Facebook shows up. Oooh boy!

Can we just try to maybe understand that GOG is trying to advertise themselves thru various channels and be ok with that?
