I guess I am among the ones who finished and loved this game.
First of all, the whole soundtrack was composed by Reeves Gabrel and Bowie. Gabrel, for those not in the know, has been the main guitar and co-composer in lots of Bowie albums. It also included what would later become the "Hours..." album, complete, as playable tracks for the in-game audio device. The only exception would be the main song, New Angles of Promise, which in Omikron is remixed and re-sung. It even featured We All Go Through as the ending theme, which was introduced in a later edition of the album.
The game, although not perfect in any of the several genres it touched, was a great achievement in mixing them all together with relative success and logic.
It's best part was, however, the graphic adventure. Most of its major puzzles could be solved in different ways (mix a potion or possess a specific character to convince someone). It was also quite good in getting you into some of the characters' lives, mainly the cop parts.
It also had some wonderful features, like being able to override the taxis automatic driving system, which allowed you to drive around the city, its many secret zones which could only be accessed with certain characters or objects (one of them being a woman who has all the soundtrack available at her home)...
And it also had one of the most difficult finals I have ever seen. But it was so worth it... Listening to a completely new Bowie song was like touching the clouds.
I loved this game when I played it, despite its failures, and consider it one of the golden pieces of game development. Quantic Dream earned my love and respect with this.
