Heh... ;)
At this moment it happens to be Final Fantasy IV.

Other than that it is usually some RPG :)

BillyMaysFan59: The forum, of course!
Please don’t mention it…
It’s 5AM, and I’m still roaming here!
Right now, Guild of Dungeoneering. Yes it has some minor bugs but nothing game breaking plus its easy to play and quite fun!

Edit- is the shadow run series any good? Or should I wait for Satellite Reign?

Best RPG I played in these last years!

Matewis: TF2 can be insanely fun, but it depends on the teams. It's at its best when both teams are almost evenly matched.
The good thing about TF2, compared to e.g. its predecessors (TFC and QuakeTF), is the "scramble the teams" vote, automatic balancing of the teams during the play (players may be automatically switched to the other team on the fly, if the teams become too lopsided), and the auto-scrambling between rounds. Those do really help to keep the games more even on a public server.

However, sometimes you still end up in a server you don't like (due to other players). For instance, lately there has been an influx of TF2 players who don't come to play, but hang around in the server. Their idea of fun is just to constantly dance around in the server, without anyone shooting at them or them shooting back. Heck, I've been once kicked out of a server (voted out) as I kept playing while a big part of other team members wanted to stop playing and just "party" (ie. doing nothing but dancing around with their characters).

I just hope to find the servers where people come to play and not to Facebook there. I recall reading sometime ago of Counterstrike players who were apparently some real-life pacifist activists, and tried to stop others from shooting each other in the game, hanging some virtual pacifist posters on the CS walls etc. Not sure if this about the same thing? They try to stop people from playing an online "war game" because war is baaaad?

In instances like those, I remember why I prefer single-player games. At least then I am not affected by the assholiness of the other players.

0.0 that's seriously messed up. Luckily I've never experienced it, granted the last time I played was 5 years ago
Anything that involves RPGs or Dungeon crawling, I usually turn off all the lights, put on my headphones and get lost in a land I can only dream of. During the day is a different experience for me so I always wait out till the evening.
The only game that keeps me up all night is "kid is sick", which luckily I haven't played lately.

When I was spending more significant time playing games, it was often City of Heroes, if I was playing task forces or such.
TBS, specially 4X games. I guess the bane of every TBS player is "just one more turn".
The last one was HoMM2. Usually its FreeCiv.

Looks like we play RPG the same way ;)
HoMM4 is the only non-RPG game that deserves the same treatment from me.
My first one which kept me and a friend of mine awake was RFTS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reach_for_the_Stars_%28video_game%29

We started Friday after school and were disrupted on Sunday morning when my father, who just came back from his night shift, decided we were up long enough and switch off the fuse ;)

Yep, we played non-stop....
Xenonauts. Whenever I see the message "Plasma rifle research complete", or something similar, I just have to play one more mission, to test out the new gear :P When I'm not playing missions, I can also usually spend a good amount of hours building bases and managing. It's a great game, and a difficult one, I usually rage-quit and go to sleep at 6 AM :P
