Fanta - C64 SID-Chip programmer took a hit of his bong

(if I understand correctly this is the name of the song, yes)
Jeroen Tel ―  S-Express   (C64, Maniacs of Noise)
Chris Huelsbeck, of course! He was great both on the C64 (R-Type, X-Out, but also Dulcedo Cogitationis and Starball in my opinion) and the Amiga: the Turrican series obviously, as well as Apidya, Z-Out, and R-Type again (different, but equally great, music).

Laxity, especially "The Alibi", one of the great SID tunes.

Talking about Tim Follin, one must absolutely cite the music for Agent X II and Scumball, among others.

Other favorite game music:
Rubicon by Jeroen Tel and Reyn Ouwehand
Zamzara (hi-score/ending) by Charles Deenen
Gaplus, Savage, Tomcat by Jeroen Tel
Street Cred Boxing by Johannes Bjerregaard

Martin Walker, Thomas Detert, Steven Diemer, Jens-Christian Huus and Glenn-Rune Gallefoss are other great composers of SID music.

ggf162: Pretty much everything from VVVVVV
Yes, especially "Pressure Cooker" and "Potential for Anything".

I only recognize one guy. Say hello to Virt, or Jake Kaufman.
Oh, and the chiptune tracks in VVVVVV and Super Hexagon are quite lovely, too.
Not an attempt to derail, but...

For some reason every time my eyes scan this thread, it makes my brain read it as 'your favorite chipmunk songs.'

This came to mind.

Martin Galway - The Neverending Story [c64]
the song was made to be played on a c64 (still think it's one of the best renditions of the song)

Another Fav is:
Cybernoid 2 by Jeroen Tel [c64]
EDIT: found that he remade this one: https://soundcloud.com/maniacs-of-noise/jeroen-tel-cybernoid-ii-master
