InfraSuperman: I recommend ePSXe. It's a great emulator, and ever since they implemented the HLE BIOS support, you don't even need a Playstation BIOS file for a lot of games anymore (they can't distribute that with the emulator, so you'd usually have to get it through... shadier channels or copy it yourself from an actual Playstation).
It's only for PS1 games, though, so Dog's Life won't work with it.
Cool stuff thanks, I'll make a note of it. A pity about Dog's Life, but I don't imagine that would entertain more than an hour :P In any event there are several PS1 games that I would've also like to check out, like Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter.

Well, there are actual PS2 emulators, so that's no real issue, but I have practically no experience with them.

1) Robotron 2084 (to this day, still the best twin-stick shooter)
2) Little Inferno (Clever and entertaining)
3) Minecraft (The only truly successful sandbox)
4) Endorfun (Puzzle game with psychedelic color cycling. Crazy shit!)
5) Don't Starve (Simple roguelike-like with a lot of depth to it. Not the usual RPG-stuff)
