Abe's Exoddus
Simon The Sorcerer 2
Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 4
In no particular order...

Descent 2
Minecraft
Total Annihilation
Gran Turismo 6
One of the Ratchet & Clanks... maybe UYA?

I'd stack the R&C series as one game if I could. They're all great (except Deadlocked, that was weird)

Grargar: Oh, top 5. Let me just quickly and sloppily put a completely-wrong list that would make many of my games angry at me. Not necessarily in order of preference:

1. Super Mario Bros. 3
2. Planescape: Torment
3. Doom
4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
5. Command and Conquer: Red Alert
I'd love to play that one day, but I don't have a console for it. I'll have to decide which is the best ito what else I can play on it first.
I found out about the game in Gametrailer's Castlevania Retrospective

Try a playstation emulator my friend. It works wonderfully.
Another of these, eh. Without thinking too much, and bulleted and not ordered:

* Deus Ex
* Final Fantasy Tactics
* Super Metroid
* Civilization 4
* Diablo 2

Honorable mentions (ie, next ones that came to mind quickly):
* Duke Nukem 3d
* Super Mario World

Okay, okay, EDIT: I erred egregiously by not including above:
* FTL

1. Eador: Genesis
this is by far the best game ever, huge gap in between

2. Imperialism series
3. Civilization series
4. Anstoss 3 (german football manager)
5. Sots: The Pit (did not think that I would love this game so much when I started it)
Unreal Tournament 2004
Guild Wars 1
Warcraft 3

These 3 games are on top for me without hesitation, but when it comes to 4th and 5th place, there are like 50 games I can't quickly choose from.

The game is currently available for purchase through the Xbox Live Store and the Playstation Network. The consoles that are compatible with it are:

Xbox 360
Xbox One (available via Xbox 360 backwards compatibility)
PSP/PS3/PS Vita (One purchase grants you the option to use the game in all those three consoles)

Out of those 5, 3 are previous generation consoles (Xbox 360, PSP, PS3) and 2 are handhelds (PSP, PS Vita).
Doom
Burger Time
Spelunky
Civilization 2
Metroid

I have considered it, but mostly because I want to play Dog's Life. It's such a wonderful but neglected premise for a game: just being a dog :P
1. Dishonored
2. RAGE
3. Beyond: Good and Evil
4. Mafia II
5. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (well, all of them)
