Defil3d3500: Can people drop the pirate tihng? It has no bearing on this. I payed for a game from GOG and am experiencing issues with it. Thats the bottom line here. I've explained myself 3 times so far and made perfectly reasonable statements for what i do, and explained that i still buy the games i like once they reach the price im willing to pay for them after 2 to 5 months at market. I dont give them away, i dont sell them. So drop it.

And yes, they actually probably would. Im still an equal user and human being who has been disrepected and violated without cause or reason multiple times at your(and others) hands. A clear violation of their terms of service. Period. Now please, attempt to be helpful or leave.

Anyone know what to do when theres no Overdrive folder in your Data folder? How do i install the texture mod fix now?

I've said nothing insulting. I've been harassed by someone i dont know, in a unfamiliar forum, for a difference in ethics. All becaue i asked for help for a game i bought.

To my knowledge, he was a troll who was harassing me. Not anyone of importance. Thats not my fault. All i've done is defend myself. I'm in the right here.

And i was never rude to anyone. At least not form my perspective. And noone has told me differently. I've just been repeatedly and illegally insulted for no reason.

Also, pirates actively fight DRM by breaking DRM. I thought people on this forum could identify with that.

Nope. And Still waiting on instructions on how to install the texture mod fix if there is no Overdrive folder in the Data folder inside the games folder. Which i've repeated 5 times. And people seem more intent on demonizing me when i've done no wrong than actually being helpful. And the only two people who actually helped have apparently left.

Sigh... Ok, ok, i'll save the op...

Guys, he is right, think about it, if it wasn't for guys like him (pirates) then publishers wouldn't put drm on their games and therefore Gog wouldn't exist.

Defil3d3500: Your a moron. My PC works fine. Infact due to the help of darkness58ec, i got it up and running fine. The issue here isnt my PC. Its GOG's terrible support. And apparently our differing ethics in terms of what is and isnt right and wrong for PC gaming.
No level of quality support can make up for a customer who refuses to follow instructions properly.
