Well... So... Great thing, i suppose, that alchemy got complex system again. But why are the essences removed? Why do i need a celandine, instead of ANY other ingredient containing the essence celandine contained before and above all, WHY can't i brew something using ONLY herbs or ONLY monster parts and i have to combine both instead for a simple damn recipe? Other than that, WHY do i freaking need so many ingredients, for a TYPICAL ploughing swallow pot?

Not sure if you got answered. It is okay, it's legal and you can do it. Just download the game using your browser or the GOG Downloader tool.

GOG allows you to download as much as you want so long as it's in your household.

Serious Witcher 3 question - are the console versions identical to the PC one? Because the consoles tend to be more puritanical about certain content.

I think they're the same through regions. Some regions had to have alterations.
