yeah not surprised why they gave away copies to all win7/8 owners.
This is FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) I happen to have thoroughly inspected Win10 in a closed control environment and have signed off on enterprise deployment as of last week. That would have never happened if there was even a "slight" chance of data leakage. That said EDGE and IE are fully disabled and I urge all to do the same :)
They have no control over any 3rd party applications, only the Metro. And as they should given there integration and how they interact with the Kernal. Meaning they cannot uninstall software no matter how hard they try, only applications and not really even then.
As the data collection, everything is controlled via options. Machine identifiers are used when appropriate. The data is truly anonymous, and yes even the telemetry. But you know, you are never hidden if your online. Its impossible.
and to squash it now, NO they do not record keystrokes and send them every 30 minutes.
