zeogold: And unintentionally do it infrequently when the site is experiencing heavy traffic. Y'know, those days when the front page either won't load or gives you a GOGbear.

Breja: For whatever reason the front page always works ok for me, but "forum replies" gives me a GOGbear 8 times out of 10.
I just got it to work for the first time this month. I had a shit load of replies I unanswered because I couldn't find them.

It's usually the opposite for me where the forum replies work but the front page doesn't.
How nice. You get discounts while I get to count disses.

zeogold: How does one unanswer a reply?
They were replies in the form of questions dingleberry! :P

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Come to think of it, neither do I.

zeogold: To be fair, it was the obvious and easy joke. I expect there to be at least 12 people coming here just to say the same thing only to realize I already did it.
I feel like I just accomplished an advanced level of one of those "first" comments.
Indeed. I was going to say they jumped ahead of the game. Or "How would you even know?"

timppu: Netflix is not.

Plus, I am sure there is an option to pay up in pornhub as well.

Plus, the service itself in GOG.com is free, you don't pay for the service, you really pay for the game licenses even if GOG store takes a one time cut of them too. For instance when you create an account to GOG.com, you get some free games and you don't have to pay anything to download (and even play) them, nor to use the forum or support functions.

Plus plus plus. Come on, I'm sure you want GOG to slow down their service, to save the humanity. Ok, so shutting down the whole site for the protest day is probably the only option then. In GOG's case, only that will get the point across.

I just hope people remember this when they complain about GOG download speeds. Don't those people care about net neutrality?
Last time this was done, some sites put up a "Site not available in your region" splash that persisted for 60 seconds (with a notice that this is what you could see if Net neutrality is lost). Then the site proceeded to work normally. It was a good message. It worked. Then the Republicans said Big Cable has good paychecks, we'll work together to strike down these rules that benefit everyone except our big Cable brethren.

Breja: They already did that too :D Didn't go so well the last time (from what I hear).
I know! I missed it though (it was before my time) and i am glad i did. It is like missing the end of the world, and then you are the only survivor. Peaceful.
