darkredshift: True. Its a spiritual successor though, like what Perfect Dark is to Goldeneye, or Halo is to Marathon.
Riotact: True, but the original question was PC port which is what I based my reply on :)
I have a Steelbox Perfect Dark on one of my Xboxes, I think it was a launch title for 360 afaik, it sold VERY badly too iirc, I don't think nostalgia is what it used to be :) :P
I don't know Marathon, But I do like Halo, so I must check it out, cheers :)
You can find all three Marathon games for free in sourceforge as well as some mods for it. they use Aleph One, a 2.5D engine based on Vulcan like GZ Doom is to id Tech 1. There's also a story page site and forum. If you have a Mac, you can also get its predecessor that SS1 and 2 nicked all their main content from besides Marathon itself: Pathways into Darkness for free on the app store. I have a copy of Pathways on an emulator.
EDIT: you must be thinking of Perfect Dark Zero. the XBLA remake of the original game was much better than either one of the others.
I also recommend the Anger Sadness and Envy podcast on Rampancy.net. Think of a Bungie oriented Yogscast and you're halfway there.

F4LL0UT: Marathon... O_O Never even heard about the game, just looked it up... I always thought that symbol in your avatar is the logo of the Tau in Warhammer 40k. Now I see that the Tau logo looks almost exactly like the Marathon one. What the heck.
it's the Marathon logo with the Thundercats symbol in the middle circle. It's the symbol for a Marathon novel I was writing. I haven't wrote that much of it and it's in dire need of a proof read.
EDIT: Just looked up the Tau logo, you are correct. I think they did that to reference the game as Marathon 1 takes place on a colony ship in orbit around Tau Ceti e.
