tinyE: It's working

kind of

Odd though. It's obviously stretched for my widesreen monitor, but the characters don't look stretched.
You have Battle.net edition?

Lucky you man :D That edition here alone would make Blizzard quite a fistful of dough, but alas...

Doesn't it run? Of course there is the issue of it being 90's game (althouh BNET was probably updated) so I don't know if it needs DosBox or even programs like Slo Mo.

I also have the CD's for Tides of Darkness and Dark Portal, but they surprisingly won't co-operate with Win8 or 10.

It's runs great, but I need the CD in the drive. :P That used to be the norm but now a days it gets on my nerves a little. And the expansions are on there.

I'm not sure but isn't there some ways to eliminate that need (programs), if you want some AC/DC playing while leading a massacre to Lordaeron or Blackrock Spire? :)
I can pass on WarCraft, but WarCraft 2 was decent.

I suppose it's possible they don't want to go through the effort of updating it to work on today's systems. But wouldn't also be surprised if they can't get it to work with BattleNet. So they won't bother if they can't DRM it.

I found one or two cracks but they are as old as the game and won't work; not a big deal As for music, I have Bose right next to my PC I keep on at all times. Unfortunately, American radio has killed AC/DC. :P They took all those great songs and played them over and over and over and over and over and over and over till the whole country was sick of them. :P

I find that extremely offensive; AC/DC has never made any good songs :P

You can take an image of the cd into .bin/.iso and mount it with autoexec.bat in DosBox. I did that with Witchaven 2 and Lost Vikings 2.

I asked this directly from Blizzard.

Guess what? The post was deleted.

I'm tempted to spam this thread with shitloads of abandonware sites, but refrained myself.

Now now, always remember this when dealing with children:

1. Never tell them where the lighter is.

2. Never push them into a Blizzard. That's called child abuse.

You're right. I ALMOST gave into "you didn't give me your transformer, now I tell your mom" :D
