siddham: I am building my first PC and I want to run Windows 7 64 bit
but I am having problems buying a copy
Microsoft dont sell it any more
and the Amazon UK offers wont deliver to Ireland
Any suggestions?
(I want a legit copy)
culky001: Try Scan.
http://www.scan.co.uk/search.aspx?q=windows+7 A top quality site.
That Scan site looks ok and sells the OEM version
Thanks for that link :)
amrit9037: Go to microsoft website or search google and download windows 7 trial image (yes it's full version with 30 days limitation and and with both 32 bit 86x and 64 bit 64x) and instead of getting a physical copy buy a windows 7 key.
I already tried MS
Chatted with a sales agent
They dont sell W7 anymore
I said that in my initial comment
siddham: (I want a legit copy)
Sachys: I'm wondering this myself actually. All I can find are grey market sites / subreddits etc. I sadly have the feeling that unless you get it (probably overpriced) from an independant retailer, its a no-go - withdrawn by MS in favour of win 10.
Yes MS seem to have closed down on W7
Their store sales agent just said there was nothing they could do
but I might be able to get it from a retailer
the Scan site looks fine to me
an OEM copy
which will do
