For those taking business classes there must be a term for this:
Companies no longer caring about their image once they've made enough
They start off small and are quick to thank you for any participation or good review
until years later they just don't reply to any issues your need to resolve with them.
Any online shopping I do, outside of Steam, I go straight to Paypal disputes because either way you will most likely have to wait a month and there's a much better chance to get your money back if there's a third-party moderator involved.
Steam gets exception only because of their return policy
*this isn't directed at GOG in any way which I don't use much*
