It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

eric5h5: Why bother with all that when you could just run the source port on any Mac. (Also Jazz 2.)

WinReset: Chrome told me that it was a suspicious download. It's probably a virus, I don't want to risk my files and other stuff just for some Jazz Jackrabbit 1/2 on a Mac. Plus, I have a secondary Windows XP computer to play Jazz Jackrabbit 1/2 on.
Meh, such flags in browsers often mean too few users have downloaded that file for there to be enough data.

I prefer first Jazz for its cute graphics and better gameplay. Although many people love second Jazz I was not able stick to it and finish it, whereas first was interesting since the beginning to the end.

There's no virus. It's a source port, which means the source code is available and you can read it and compile it yourself. I wouldn't recommend using Chrome anyway, it's kind of spyware-ish.
It was a formative 2D platformer for me, and I still have the music in my regular rotation (along with lots of other stuff from Alexander Brandon), but having tried to play the game in recent years, maybe I've grown, or gaming has changed, but...I didn't really feel the same beyond the twinges of nostalgia.

Additionally, Chrome won't trust any executable without a signature nor one that is so recent as to have not been carefully scanned so thoroughly as to make Odo grunt dismissively.
Alright, so from what I heard, Chrome just sucks and dosen't trust anything without a signature. I'm going to download and try this out.

Edit: Both of the source ports don't work.

Both? There's another? I know J2R needs you to put the data files in a folder, but what of the other one?

Darvond: Both? There's another?
Yes, one for Jazz 1 and another for Jazz 2.

Yes they do. The source port pages have links that say "installation instructions," read those and do what they say. It's very simple.
